Prices

This is the same list that is painted on the wall inside, and it is the price you pay at the chair. Everything here is available walk-in; the ones marked can usually seat you within the hour.

Haircuts

Every cut finishes the same way: cleaned up at the neck and around the ears with a straight razor, hot towel, and a splash of bay rum unless you say otherwise.

  • 01

    Regular haircut

    $28

Clippers and scissors, blended to whatever length you ask for. Washed, cut, and finished with a hot towel at the neck.

    Allow 30 min Walk-in

  • 02

    Skin fade

    $35

Bald at the bottom, blended clean into the length on top with no line you can find. Finished with the foil shaver around the ears.

    Allow 40 min

  • 03

    Taper

    $30

The conservative one. Short and tight at the neck and sideburns, natural through the sides, nothing dramatic at the hairline.

    Allow 35 min

  • 04

    Line-up only

    $15

Hairline, temples and neck squared off with the trimmer. For keeping last week's cut sharp when you do not need the whole thing again.

    Allow 15 min Walk-in

  • 05

    Kids' cut (12 and under)

    $22

Same cut, more patience, and the booster board on the chair. First haircut gets a photo on the wall and a lollipop if it is alright with you.

    Allow 30 min Walk-in

  • 06

    Senior cut (65 and over)

    $20

Full haircut with the hot towel and neck shave, at the price it was when most of our regulars started coming here.

    Allow 30 min Walk-in

Beard & Shave

Straight-razor work is done by Don Ramón and Luis only, and it is never rushed. A full shave holds the chair for the better part of an hour.

  • 07

    Beard trim & shape

    $18

Length taken down with the clipper, cheek line and neck line set with the razor, then beard oil worked through with a hot towel.

    Allow 20 min

  • 08

    Hot towel straight razor shave

    $40

Three towels, hand-lathered soap, two passes with the straight razor — with the grain and then across it — cold towel and balm to close.

    Allow 45 min

  • 09

    Beard & line-up

    $28

Beard shaped and the hairline squared up together, so the two lines agree with each other. The most common thing we do between haircuts.

    Allow 30 min

Add-ons

Booked on their own or added to any cut. Ask when you sit down rather than at the end — most of these need a few extra minutes in the chair.

  • 10

    Cut & beard

    $45

Any haircut on the menu with a full beard shape, booked as one appointment so you are not waiting twice.

    Allow 55 min

  • 11

    Gray blending

    $30

Ammonia-free colour that knocks the gray back rather than erasing it, so the grow-out does not show a line. Hair or beard.

    Allow 40 min

  • 12

    Eyebrow clean-up

    $10

Tidied with the trimmer and the razor. Shaped, not thinned — we are not taking anything you will miss.

    Allow 10 min

  • 13

    Hair design

    $10+

Parts, lines and freehand work cut into the fade. Bring a photo. Danny does the detailed ones and prices them at the chair.

    Allow 15 min

The shop's back counter with bottles, clippers and tools lined up on the shelves

Walk-ins welcome

You never need an appointment here. Put your name on the board by the door and we will call it. Saturdays before noon run about a forty-minute wait; Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons you will usually sit straight down.

Before you come in

  1. 01

    Cash and card both work

There is a card reader at the front and an ATM two doors down at the market. Tips in cash reach the barber the same day; on card they clear on Friday.

  2. 02

    Prices are the price

Nothing on this menu changes at the chair except hair design, which depends on how much of it you want. No consultation fee, no product upsell at the end.

  3. 03

    Bring a photo

It is the fastest way to be understood, and nobody here is offended by it. If the cut will not work with how your hair actually grows, we will tell you before we start.

  4. 04

If you booked and cannot make it

Call the shop. A no-show holds a chair empty on a Saturday and somebody on the walk-in list would have taken it. Two in a row and we ask you to walk in instead.

Walk in, or pick a time

Appointments for Luis, Marisol and Danny are held on Squire. Don Ramón takes the board only — for him, come in and write your name down.
